I am Dawn Hartman, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of nursing experience, including treating patients in crisis. I specialize in treating older adolescents, adults, and seniors who have a range of symptoms, including anxiety, depression, panic, obsessive-compulsive disorder, PTSD, and other mood and personality disorders.
I received my Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. I have experience in crisis intervention and case management for individuals seeking mental health treatment. I utilize a holistic approach combined with medication management and draw on methods from mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing.
