Everyone is Harvard trained (me too!), listens empathetically and likes long walks on the beach. How do you pick? What really matters here is your relationship with your psychiatrist. Working with me is going to feel different. Patients who like me prefer directness and an informal, relaxed style (can you tell?). I'm solutions oriented, practical and my work is fully tailored to you.

I’ve been doing this long enough to know that there is rarely one easy choice in mental health, so I like to talk through options with patients and come up with a plan together. I believe in evidence based medicine but that includes integrative and systemic approaches that are also grounded in good science.

I prescribe meds, sure, but I don’t believe in just throwing more pills at a problem. No one here has access to the secret carefree happy pill - developing strategies matters. Mindfulness is as important as Zoloft. Adderall does wonders for ADHD but behavioral change increases that exponentially. I can't wait to hear from you. www.robinson.doctor
