I specialize in treating ADHD, depression, panic, anxiety, bipolar, OCD and other disorders for both women and men. I use a combination of medication and the appropriate type of psychotherapy to help you get well. My goal is to help ensure that my patients are able to resolve and to decrease symptoms in order to achieve a healthier and happier life. In person or on the phone, I provide a safe, caring place for adult psychiatry, psychological health, and medication management. I have been serving the San Jose - Silicon Valley, CA, area for over 25 years.
Specialities: ADHD, depression, panic, anxiety, bipolar, OCD and other disorders for both women and men. For a number of years I was a practicing Ob-Gyn physician which has been beneficial in treating intrapartum, postpartum and post menopausal issues. I stay updated on current research and medical treatments that are evidenced based modalities.
I enjoy working with a variety of patients from different backgrounds understanding that each patient is unique and needs to be treated from a whole person perspective. I do a complete psychiatric interview for each patient that includes a history of the present illness, the past psychiatric history and a complete family and developmental history.
