I am a therapist that strives to achieve a balance in the treatment relationship that best promotes healing. I recognize the innate tendency towards health and growth while staying alert to the effects of genes and life stress/trauma on all of us. I work with a variety of age groups and individuals from diverse backgrounds. I provide individual psychotherapy as well as medication evaluation and management when it is indicated. I invest the time to get to know people and understand the context of their problems and strengths.
I have a holistic approach and employ a variety of techniques in an effort to tailor treatment to that which works for an individual. In my practice I see children, adults and families and I also have extensive experience with immigrants, Spanish speaking families and do community work with agencies that serve children.
