The goal of my practice is helping people get their lives back. Restoring mental health can be a tricky road to navigate, but with perseverance and treatment, change is possible. I enjoy working with people, and from long years of experience, have a good sense of what it takes to help my patients return to productive, healthy lives. I am Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in adult, adolescent, and child psychiatry. Dr. David Schopick primarily serves New Hampshire, southern Maine and northern Massachusetts, but is also available for telemedicine appointments.
My patients know they can call me 24/7--they will never get bumped to a doctor or nurse practitioner they don't know (unless I am on vacation and signed out to another psychiatrist for emergency coverage). My patients find it reassuring knowing that they can always reach me.
I provide a thorough and careful evaluation that gathers information not only about the patient's current problem, but also their past mental health treatment, medical history, social and school history, and family mental health history. This gives me a comprehensive picture of the patient and allows me to recommend a suitable treatment.
