I practice Integrative Psychiatry and Nutritional Medicine. I utilize amino acid therapy and trauma-based modalities. I gather information about every aspect of your life with the intention that you will feel safe sharing "anything." My goal is to provide an accepting, nonjudgmental environment in which you feel you are "not simply a diagnosis." I want you to feel heard and understood. I strive to establish Connection. With connection comes hope. With hope people are motivated to engage in the healing process. I don't work with medications. Amino Acid Therapy (X35 years). Every neurotransmitter except for one is made from amino acids. My recommendations are based on nutritional lab work, including neurotransmitter testing. If you’ve tried numerous medications that didn’t work or no longer work, I’m your guy! Psychotherapy modalities: guided imagery and trauma-based counseling when needed.
1. I believe my patients are supposed to get better. That belief creates expectations of success. 2. Every mental problem has physical components; every physical problem has mental/emotional components. 3. 99.9% of neurotransmitters are made from amino acids. 4. Most people have spiritual issues that need to be addressed.
