As a psychiatrist I have a unique practice where I offer combined talk work (psychotherapy) along with conservative use of medication, where necessary. I work with individuals, couples, and families from a family systems perspective, having trained extensively in Bowen Family Systems Theory. I live in Des Moines, Iowa and provide televideo psychiatry throughout both Iowa and Colorado. I see folks on a self-pay basis so I do not accept insurance. However, I do work with folks who are financially strained to find a fee that works within their budget. At this time I am unable to see folks who are 65 or older or on Medicare.
