Being human entails struggle. Even if circumstances go well, depression, anxiety, conflict and other things may keep us from being what we might be. A discouraging world challenges our sense of meaning in life. The evidence shows depth therapies sustain benefit over time more than other superficial approaches. Depth psychotherapy offers an opportunity for meaningful change to occur. Depth work utilizes dreams, fantasy, metaphor and other means over time to access unconscious, unrecognized aspects of ourselves, permitting our becoming more complete individuals.
Currently I’m a candidate in training to be an analyst through the Inter Regional Society of Jungian Analysts. Relationship is the most important factor in all types of therapy. My attention is completely, patiently for you. I am not there for the sake of insurers, employers or efficiency.
My 39 years practicing, including tele-health, is that meeting in person, at least initially allows a better experience. While I’m on insurance panels, a sacrosanct confidential space required for depth is violated when subject to third parties and their audits. I encourage those who can to go outside of insurance and will work towards making that possible
