He grew up in rural Ohio and graduated from high school before enlisting in the U.S. Army. After his service, he pursued higher education at Bowling Green State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Astronomy. Daron then attended Ohio State University College of Medicine, graduating in 1998.

After retiring from military service, Daron joined the Dayton VA, where he served as the Medical Director of Substance Abuse and Specialized Programs, earning board certification in Addiction Medicine.

Currently, Daron's primary focus is in psychiatry, where he works with adults and adolescents experiencing challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and concentration difficulties. His extensive background in primary care medicine informs his comprehensive approach, emphasizing the mind-body connection in mental health treatment
