Welcome to Northeast Women’s Psychiatry, where we treat women’s mental health issues across the lifespan. Women need a specialized approach to care. At NWP, we address depression, anxiety, insomnia, adult ADHD, bipolar disorder, and other mental health issues that arise for women across the lifespan. NWP offers medication prescribing, brief psychotherapy, basic lab testing, customized supplement regimens, as well as mind-body medicine and lifestyle coaching. We aim to assess and treat women via a whole body psychiatric lens, using integrative methods and traditional psychiatry.
This practice was built by women, for women. We are passionate about exploring nutrition as medicine, sleep hygiene, using physical activity as a major tool, and considering how female sex hormones are implicated in mental health. We will guide you in the use of medication, psychotherapy, appropriate supports, or other modalities of self care.
