I specialize in psychotropic medication management and brief counseling. Most of my patients struggle with multiple, psychiatric comorbidities, and I love being able to address all of their reported and observed symptoms, to get them to a place of recovery and growth. Each treatment approach is individualized to that patient, and I always encourage the person to self-advocate and be involved in their treatment journey. Hello and welcome! I'm Daniel DiSalvo, and have been a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner for the past 23 years. I completed all of my schooling and training at The Ohio State University. I have worked in a variety of psychiatric settings, and I specialize in seeing adult patients struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar and psychosis.

I know that sometimes there's stigma associated with receiving mental health care. I want you to consider seeing me similar to seeing your primary care provider (or specialist) for cardiac or endocrine disorders. Mental illness is a medical condition that needs treated. I will provide a safe and supportive space for you to share, engage and ask questions.
