I treat adults with all mental health issue including depression, anxiety, stress, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, panic disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and others. I do so with empathy and listening to the needs and concerns of my patients. I specialize in perinatal/reproductive psychiatry which is the care of women and families trying to conceive, currently pregnant, or up to two years postpartum. With 15 years of experience, I am well-equipped to treat all mental health conditions.
I strongly believe in close collaboration between psychiatrist and therapist. I am the the first physician in the state of New Jersey to have acquired the perinatal mental health certification (PMH-C). I am the founder and CEO of Elite Psychiatry with an office in Westfield, NJ and also offer rapid-access virtual appointments to anyone in the state of NJ.
The doctor-patient relationship and the decision making process should be a team approach. My role is to help the patient learn about their diagnosis and give them the tools to make the treatment decisions that work best for them.
