I provide comprehensive and holistic treatment for those struggling with mood, anxiety, sleep, psychotic, OCD, ADHD, eating, and trauma based disorders. I have extensive experience with addiction/substance use disorders and geriatric psychiatric conditions as well. For substance use disorders, I provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) options including naltrexone and suboxone/buprenorphine. For geriatric individuals, I provide memory evaluations, treat dementia along with related behavioral disturbances, and more. My therapeutic strategy always relies on using as few medications as possible at the lowest effective doses.
Understanding medications alone generally is not enough, I combine evidence-based practices with complementary therapies to help individuals achieve optimal mental health and well-being. Your treatment will include a holistic approach and focus on medication, supplements and vitamins, diet, exercise, mindfulness, and social connectedness.
I am licensed as a Physician and Surgeon by the Medical Board of California and am board certified in Psychiatry as a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. I attended medical school at UCLA and completed my residency training at UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior.
