Hello, I’m Dana, a psychiatric nurse practitioner providing individualized medication management. I’m especially interested in supporting people with ADHD and mood disorders.
I provide culturally responsive care to individuals and families from the Jewish community. I see adults and adolescents ages 10 and older who are actively engaged in regular psychotherapy.
I also support medication tapers and deprescribing with careful monitoring. Depending on treatment needs, safety measures may include obtaining labs, drug screening, collateral information, and coordination with other providers.
In addition to medication management, I also emphasize the importance of non-pharmacological treatments. Many clients find that alternative therapies can be effective and beneficial in managing their symptoms. We can discuss many options available and provide appropriate referrals. Medication management was not meant to be a stand alone treatment option.
Change can be scary, but often needed. If you are committed to feeling better and are actively engaging in therapy, We will work with and you and your team, including behavioral health clinicians/therapists, teachers/counselors, as well as family/friends.
