I am a Masters’ prepared Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing culturally informed mental health care in populations across the lifespan including children, teens, and adults with complex acute and chronic psychiatric disorders. Our practice, SSO Nursing, offers evidence-based, ethical, and transparent decision-making by being a partner in addressing mental health care in the outpatient telehealth setting.

I believe that good care starts with listening to and understanding the patient's concerns and goals for treatment. I strive to work collaboratively with patients to develop a treatment plan that is evidence-based and individually tailored to help them reach their goals. I provide both medication management and psychotherapy services.

I am a board certified psychiatrist with over 15 years of experience treating a wide range of mental health issues. I specialize in the management of eating disorders and women's mental health issues, particularly the emotional challenges specific to pregnancy, breastfeeding, and parenting/maternal identity. I work collaboratively with my patients to understand their unique experience and develop a treatment plan tailored to their individual needs.

Dr. Mark Chofla is a board-certified psychiatrist and physician who completed his specialty residency training at the Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California at Davis, Dr. Chofla earned his medical degree from Midwestern University: Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Hello, I am a board-certified psychiatrist trained to work with both adults and children, offering in-person services on Saturdays and evenings in the north Oakland/Berkeley area. My practice includes comprehensive assessments, customized interventions, and tailored treatments to assist individuals and families in navigating a wide spectrum of emotional and behavioral challenges. I have a particular focus on autism, anxiety, and trauma, providing support through parent coaching, psycho-dynamic and CBT-oriented therapy, and thoughtful medication management when appropriate.
