I am friendly, transparent, respectful, and knowledgeable. My original training was as a scientist, so I am always asking questions and revising ideas about what may be leading to problems. I have taught psychotherapy at Yale (DBT) and I've been called an "emotional phenomenologist", which I think is an apt description.
