I knew from a young age that I wanted to work in psychiatry. It was only after years of managing my family's business that I made a career change to be an RN. During my twelve years in emergency medicine, I observed people seeking mental health treatment being disregarded. I wanted to do more to have a greater impact on those with mental health issues and this is what lead me to becoming a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. I treat individuals of all ages from all walks of life with an array of mental health issues to improve quality of life and function. This is my goal as a mental health provider.

I also have over a decade of experience working as an FNP in primary care. I provide holistic care with evidence-based medication management. In addition to traditional psychiatry, I also offer in-person Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy sessions, when appropriate. When used in a therapeutic setting, Ketamine can produce rapid, profound, and sustained changes in insight, mood, behavior, and consciousness.

She diagnoses and treats a wide range of mental health concerns with a holistic and comprehensive approach. She has experience treating depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, trauma, adjustment disorders, and mood disorders. She provides quality, compassionate, patient-centered, and culturally sensitive mental health services to adult clients. Mitchelee is passionate about empowering clients to take control of their lives.

I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I offer medication management for mood disorders and ADHD. I offer both in-person and telehealth (for established patients). I am passionate about mental health and helping my patients achieve the proper tools to be the best versions of themselves.

My clinical focus is on holistic and patient centered care for adults and adolescents, with special attention given to treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, stress related disorders, as well as substance use disorder.
