I'm Cristin O'Connell, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Mindful Psychiatry & Wellness. My goal is to provide a safe and comfortable space for adults to explore medication management. I take an integrative approach to care, combining evidence-based medication management with brief counseling. I combine integrative, holistic approaches, including genetic testing, laboratory testing, supplements, and mind-body wellness therapies. Medication, alongside integrative therapies, can often be powerful tools to support your mental health journey.
The heart of my practice is connection. I believe in building strong partnerships with my patients, grounded in empathy, trust, and open communication. No two people are alike, and I tailor treatment to align with your unique goals. That's why my evaluations are 60 minutes and follow-up appointments are 30 minutes in length, ensuring they are never rushed.
With over 11 years of experience treating ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Mood Disorders, Autism, OCD, Intrusive Thoughts, Insomnia, Trauma, and PTSD, I am committed to helping you feel understood and supported.
