I am an experienced board-certified Family Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have experience caring for ages 10 and up. I began my nursing career two decades ago as a cardiac/critical care nurse. After several years, I began working with Veterans at the VA hospital. While there, I developed a passion for helping patients with mental illness, PTSD/trauma, and substance use. I use medication and holistic approaches in treatment.
When seeing a new client, I want the process as easy as possible. Seeking treatment can be overwhelming and I want to eliminate some of that stress. The relationship between a provider and client is a true collaboration, and the needs of the client must be a priority.
I feel I can increase access to mental health and addiction services in the community and help individuals achieve and maintain optimal mental health. I offer in-person and virtual visits.
