I am Courtney Mitten, DNP, ARNP, PMHNP-BC, a psychiatric nurse practitioner providing mental health care for adolescents and adults ages 10 and older. I offer medication management and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) using a holistic, patient-centered approach. I work collaboratively with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related concerns, ADHD, and life transitions. I value personalized care that aligns with your goals, values, and lifestyle, with medication used thoughtfully as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
My approach incorporates elements of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and person-centered therapy. I strive to create a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where patients feel supported and actively involved in their care.
I provide affirming mental health care for the LGBTQ+ community and use a functional psychiatry approach to support. I have a special interest in women’s mental health, including hormonal influences such as PMS, PMDD, perimenopause, & postpartum concerns, and have completed additional training in this area. Mental health is my passion, and I’m here to help.
