Hi! I'm a board-certified, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I focuses on treating patients across the life span, including children and adolescents while working alongside families, parents, and other health professionals. This is essential in forming a treatment plan that follows a holistic approach, with the overall goal of creating a more desirable quality of life. I am easy to talk to and I focus on making sure you are heard. We will brainstorm ideas together, develop a plan, and set goals. I want to make sure each patient receives individualized care and enables trust in the partnership.
I have spent nearly five years at an inpatient crisis stabilization unit. I really experienced firsthand the importance of collaboration within a care team, patient advocacy, and support. I have had the opportunity to work with a vast number of mental health diagnoses, including dual diagnosis treatment, eating disorders, and trauma.
I have experience working with patients experiencing changes to their mental health during their own physical health crisis, or their families. I'm a bone cancer survivor and advocate. I enjoys spending my free time with family and six rescue dogs (3 blue heelers and 3 Frenchies) and netflix. I'm neurodivergent and have ADHD.
