I offer my clients a collaborative approach to treating a variety of mental health issues. As a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I can work with clients both with medication management and therapy to improve their psychological well-being. My philosophy in patient care supports a holistic approach in which I partner with my clients to work towards their goals. I believe that communication and trust are at the heart of the therapeutic relationship. I specialize in treating adolescents (14+) and young adults with anxiety and depression, among other mental health disorders.
I have several years of experience working at an inpatient psychiatric hospital outside of Chicago, IL. There, I specialized in adolescent/young adult psychiatry with a focus on eating disorder treatment. Subsequently, I worked with young adults in a private outpatient setting assisting with medication management, interpersonal talk therapy and CBT.
