Dr. Allison Jackson is a Harvard-trained board-certified psychiatrist who opened MindfulMD as a way to provide individually tailored, compassionate psychiatric care for her patients. She is accepting new patients in Florida (in-person and virtual) and Massachusetts (virtual only). She has experience treating a wide variety of conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, sleep issues, sexual health issues, bipolar disorder, PTSD, derm-psych conditions i.e. skin picking and trichotillomania, and many more. I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist with a specialty in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and I have more than 20 years of experience. I am currently in my 4th year at the Florida Psychoanalytic Institute studying to become a psychoanalyst. Additionally, he is certified as Psychiatric Mental Health NursePractitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center ANCC. In addition to his extensive professional training, Eduardo also brings a unique cultural perspective. As a native of Peru, Eduardo brings unique insight to those who may feel as outsiders, or have experienced moving or adapting to a new environment. Eduardo speaks fluent English and Spanish, and can treat patients in both languages.

Jermilla is a controlled substance-free provider. When it comes to controlled substances, I strongly believe there is a level of long-term oversight needed that telehealth does not provide. An in-person relationship is better suited to managing and monitoring use of these medications. As a telehealth provider of psychiatry services, Thriveworks will follow evidence-based best practices and step out of the controlled substance space. This includes any benzodiazepine, hypnotic sleep aid and stimulant.
