About
I am a psychiatrist specializing in trauma and dissociation and have been providing treatment, consultation, educational and supervision services for over 30 years in Texas in outpatient, inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment settings. I see teens and adults and address a wide range of mental disorders including anxiety, depression, PTSD and substance use disorders.
I have a special training and interest in the long-term effects of psychological trauma.
I am the author of 36 books and over 260 papers, many of them dealing with trauma and dissociation and I am a Past President of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation.
