My style is warm, kind, and nonjudgmental. I work best with people who are curious and motivated to learn about themselves in order to grow. I primarily work in an open-ended psychotherapy frame with judicious use of medications when appropriate.
In addition to general psychiatric training, I graduated with an area of distinction in LGBTQ mental health from UCSF. I have practiced in HIV and LGBTQ specialty clinics, as well as co-facilitated a psychotherapy group for gay and HIV-positive veterans. I welcome and provide safe, informed, and compassionate care for sexual minority individuals.
I am one of the founders of Meitri Collaborative, a psychiatric and psychotherapy practice in downtown San Francisco, CA. We are a group of three psychiatrists who believe in warm, excellent, and personalized care.
