Hello! I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of Nursing experience beginning as a CNA, then as a bedside Registered Nurse for over 12 years, many of which were spent in the critical care unit where I worked during the Covid pandemic. My experience during that time cemented my need to care for patients in order to prevent them from finding themselves in that setting. I am originally from Birmingham, Alabama, where I completed my Master's Degree in Nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While pursuing my master's degree, I worked as a registered nurse in a neurological and trauma intensive care unit at UAB Hospital for over five years. I later worked as a travel nurse at Saint Anthony Hospital in Colorado.

My nursing career brought me the good fortune of traveling for work; I have lived in all four corners of the US (and in the middle, too!) and have enjoyed meeting and working with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
