As a cognitive-behavioral therapist, my goal is to help you identify troubling thoughts that cause dysfunctional behaviors and emotional distress. We can work together to modify behaviors. I specialize in mood disorders, behavioral issues, anxiety disorders. sleep disorders, marital conflict, and problems secondary to chronic medical conditions. I provide psychotherapy and medication management for clients ages 6 to 75. I utilize evidence-based techniques with individuals and families. The first visit consists of a thorough biopsychosocial assessment. Together we will develop a treatment plan with specific treatment goals over 3-12 sessions. Clients must be willing to practice skills outside of sessions for the best outcomes of therapy.
I am a registered nurse with 25 years of experience in managing psychiatric conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I also work with two psychiatrists and four therapists in the practice which provides additional options for clients.
