Hello, I'm Syreeta Spears and I'm a Board-Certified, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with full prescriptive authority. I specialize in the treatment of children, adolescents, and young adults, and currently only see patients age 35 and under. I have 16 years of psychiatric experience including: Inpatient and Outpatient care, Day Treatment, and Psychiatric Emergency care.
Though medication can be helpful, I feel the best treatment is combining medication, therapy, and lifestyle changes to improve overall wellbeing. I look at how physical activity, nutrition, support systems, and sleep impact mental health. I also offer genetic testing, which helps guide medication choices based on your individual needs.
