As a prescriber, I specialize in helping people feel seen and heard, find the way to their goals, help to create a treatment plan to support their goals and determine if medications can be helpful along the way. Trained at UCSF, with more than 20 years of experience working in mental health, and a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, I function similar to a psychiatrist. I assess and diagnose mental health conditions and create treatment plans focusing on wellness, therapy, nutritional psychiatry, and prescribe - when appropriate - psychiatric medications for children, adolescents, and adults.
I'm a thoughtful and experienced prescriber who has worked in community mental health, drug and alcohol programs, and provided counseling to individuals of all ages. I provide focused care for individuals with histories of trauma, queer and transgender folx, athletes, pregnant and postpartum women, and clients diagnosed with bipolar wanting a second opinion.
I do not accept insurance. My assessment is $600 and 75 minutes long and treatment planning appointments are 50 minutes for $400. Follow-up appointments are $200.
