I became a nurse practitioner to deliver a higher level of patient care, realize a greater scope of practice and have increased job satisfaction. I wanted to participate in a follow- up and plan of care in a more meaningful way.
I am a big believer in preventative care and equipping patients with as much knowledge as possible to make educated decisions about their health.
