As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I have provided medication management and psychotherapy for more than thirty years. I hold a Master’s Degree from Seattle University in Existential-Phenomenological Psychology, meaning my orientation is toward the fact that, in order to live fully in the moment, we all must accept our mortality. The goal is to make choices that enliven us, and afford us a satisfying life with minimal regrets. I have recently moved my private practice from Vancouver to downtown Camas, WA.
I have many years of experience working with first responders, medical professionals, young people going through first-episode psychosis and their families. I have also worked extensively with veterans both within the VA system and otherwise.
The relationship between a therapist and their client is a profoundly important and sensitive one. I strive to provide a personalized experience that considers your unique needs. My practice is about finding the right treatment for each patient, and building a therapeutic alliance to foster healing and resilience.
