In my 25 years of practice I have treated those with diverse backgrounds in various healthcare settings. I offer psychiatric care with a focus on psychiatric evaluations and, when indicated, medication management for anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and ADHD. I have worked extensively with those experiencing forms of chronic illness and pain syndromes. My approach to treatment encompasses a mind/body/spirit philosophy toward care and wellness. You must be actively engaged in therapy as I view medication as a adjunctive treatment to the work you are currently doing with your therapist with whom I will collaborate with.

I have almost two decades of experience as a nurse practitioner and therapist treating individuals with mental health struggles. I enjoy working with women's mental health issues including postpartum, motherhood journeys, fertility struggles, PMDD and relationships. I also enjoy working with as a gender affirming provider and trauma informed practice. I offer medication or medication and therapy to treat the whole person as each journey is different. As an integrative mental health provider, it's important to me to curate a wellness plan that fits your needs. It's my goal to listen and empower you along the way.

I am a psychiatrist and Harvard Medical School faculty member with expertise treating a wide range of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, substance use, and psychosis. I have additional expertise in grief/bereavement, supporting patients through complex medical decisions, advanced care planning, and anxiety disorders. I am a Clinical Associate Professor at Boston College and a Teaching Associate at Harvard Medical School. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner and a registered yoga teacher, I specialize in providing mindful mental health services, including prescribing psychiatric medications and using Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). I utilize mindfulness-based techniques, such as MBCT and yoga in my treatment plans to support holistic mental health and meet the unique wellness goals of my clients. I provide new prescriptions or refills of psychiatric medications based on the needs and preferences of each individual.

I work with individuals who have anxiety, depression, mood disorders, insomnia, relationship problems, trauma history, medical illness, neurological illness, and/or individuals who are helping family members with these problems. My experience over the last 25 years in psychiatry has shown that medications are helpful but do not take care of all problems in life. I offer combined psychiatric treatment. I received my psychiatric residency training from Georgetown University Hospital and fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine from Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School.

I am a Harvard and Tufts trained adult psychiatrist with fellowship specialization in the intersection of psychiatric and medical illness. I am an adult, child and adolescent psychiatrist and Addiction Medicine specialist. I am currently full-time faculty at Boston Children’s Hospital and clinical instructor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. I work in the Adolescent Substance Use and Addiction Program in the Division of Addiction Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital. I also serve on the Massachusetts Medical Society's Committee on Mental Health and Substance Use. In my private practice, I assess and treat patients of all ages. My office is located in Harvard Square, Cambridge, MA. At this time, I am accepting a limited number of clients.

Dr. Brown is a Christian Psychiatrist practicing Telepsychiatry for California and Massachusetts state residents. She offers an integrated approach bridging the gap between psychiatry and Christianity. The healing process is facilitated by accessing the benefits of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Stephanie L. Weingard graduated from Florida International University, achieving a post-masters certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has worked in inpatient, outpatient and intensive outpatient settings over the past 8 years. She is also a United States Air Force Reservist and works providing mental health care to both active duty and reserve members.
