About
I have grown into tele-psychiatry with my patients and they love it!. It’s ideal for psychiatric medication management but I do spend an hour each month with my people and am available 24/7 directly to me between visits for any questions or concerns that might arise. We do set goals and work together towards them often in concert with psychotherapists and/or 1:1. I specialize in all mood disorders, thought disorders, and substance use disorders. I am licensed to prescribe Suboxone/buprenorphine if this is indicated. My patients have been surprised by the punctuality and quality of my services compared to what they have experienced.
The past seven years with the onset of the opioid crisis I’ve focused more on Substance Abuse Disorders and of course always including alcoholism which has always been a crisis. Most with S.U.D. have an underlying psychiatric disorder. Our goal is to treat both concurrently. With Medication Assisted Treatment and the patient seeking out-pt/individual tx.
I am sixty seven years old and have experienced most of what life has to offer. I am able to draw on my own experiences to increase my ability to both sympathize and empathize with my patients. I am now doing Psychiatric House Calls. My patients love this service and the rates are reasonable; ALL my rates are very reasonable. You’ll be surprised.
