I have twenty years of clinical experience working in the greater New Orleans area. I am a Board Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist and a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. I have worked in a number of settings, including children's hospitals, psychiatric inpatient units, outpatient and school based mental health clinics, a day treatment program for children and adolescents, and a university counseling center. I specialize in treating the emerging developmental needs of adolescents and young adults navigating life transitions, and adults managing the impact of past adverse life events.
I provide a comprehensive evaluation and treatment plan in a collaborative manner with my patients, and take the time to assure their understanding of the treatment process, whether that be through medication, psychotherapy, or a combination of both. I also work collaboratively with other therapists while providing medication management as needed.
