My name is Christopher Ajadi-PMHNP. I embrace a holistic, patient-centered approach to mental healthcare, focusing on the unique needs and strengths of each individual. I also believe in fostering a collaborative therapeutic relationship, integrating evidence-based practices with compassionate support to empower patients in their healing journeys. I am committed to reducing stigma and promoting mental wellness and advocacy through integration that addresses both mental and physical health.
My approach to providing mental healthcare is centered on a holistic, patient-focused framework that prioritizes empathy, collaboration, and empowerment. I incorporate a variety of theoretical approaches namely Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness-based technique, and Trauma-informed care.
My passion for helping others dragged me to mental health. It started when I was in Nigeria. At a time when there were a lot of misconceptions about mental health, at a time when the stigma about mental health was so high. I wanted to make a positive impact using my personal experience with the victims inspired me to this field.
