With over 25 years of experience in the field of psychiatry, I bring a deep understanding of mental health from both therapeutic and medical perspectives. I began my journey with a bachelor’s in psychology, followed by a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. Over the years, I’ve worked as a therapist, case manager, and in crisis outreach—roles that gave me a strong foundation in meeting people where they are.
After a decade in mental health, I returned to school to pursue nursing, knowing I wanted to continue serving in psychiatry. I earned my BSN from Austin Peay State University and completed my Master’s as a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner at the University of Missouri. My clinical experience spans inpatient, outpatient &crisis stabilization.
I believe that healing happens through connection, honesty, and a collaborative approach. Outside of work, I love gardening, reading fiction, and spending time with my two boys.
