I am a Yale University-trained Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practioner with over 18 years of experience in Mental Health. I am lifespan board-certified to treat ages 5 to 70years old. I have subspecialty training in child and adolescent psychiatry and clinical research. I treat all psychiatric conditions including but not limited to, depression, anxiety, Panic Disorder, ADHD, Bipolar disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Schizophrenia, PTSD and abuse survivors, OCD, Eating Disorders, and ODD. Cassandra Shepard is dual-licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), and Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner (PMHNP), board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center received her Doctorate, Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from the University of Saint Joseph. I have experience in short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, inpatient, outpatient psychiatric treatment settings, and partial hospitalization program services.

Our group practice consists of Board-Certified providers. Our extensive inpatient and outpatient work history providing care to clients with co-morbid psychiatric and medical conditions has contributed to our ability to assess each client from a holistic view and provide the best evidence-based recommendations. Michelle is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry. She has many years of experience working in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings. Her Masters Degree is from Pace University. Michelle is a trauma-informed provider with extensive experience as the Director of Nursing in a Correctional facility and understands First Responders, Veterans, and their challenges.
