Nice to meet you! I'm Dr. Christabel Lartey and I am a Board-Certified Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. I hold a board certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center as well as an ASAM waiver to provide Medication- Assisted Treatment for those with substance use disorders as well as co-occurring Mental health conditions. My approach to care varies based on the needs of each client I work with. I see each patient as a unique individual and consider their holistic circumstances when evaluating their mental health needs.
I make it a point to listen and try to understand patients' needs beyond simply prescribing medications. I discuss different treatment options with patients, create an individualized care plan that will meet each patient's needs, and work with them to achieve their care plan goals.
I love working with children, adolescents, young and middle-aged adults but not geriatrics with Bipolar disorders, depression, Psychotic disorders (schizophrenia, schizoaffective, delusional disorder, etc), ADHD, Autism spectrum disorder, anxiety disorders, Insomnia, PTSD, eating disorders and many more.
