I’m Chris Mokongu, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) providing telehealth psychiatric care. I work with children ages 6 and older, adolescents, and adults, with a primary focus on ADHD evaluation and medication management.
I also treat anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD/ trauma-related symptoms and more, using an evidence-based, patient-centered approach. My work emphasizes psychiatric assessment, medication management, and collaborative treatment planning to support improved focus, mood stability, and daily functioning.
The first session is a psychiatric evaluation focused on understanding symptoms, history, and how concerns are affecting daily functioning at home, school, or work. For adults, we’ll discuss focus, mood, stressors, sleep, and overall functioning. For children and adolescents, we’ll review developmental history, academic performance and behavior.
I am best positioned to work with children ages 6 and older and adolescents who need psychiatric evaluation and medication management for ADHD, as well as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related symptoms, and other mental health conditions that affect school performance, behavior, emotional regulation, or daily functioning.
