Dr. Mitchell Cabisudo is a double board certified Child, Adolescent, and Adult psychiatrist who has been trained in different schools of psychotherapy and has in-depth knowledge and understanding of the use of life-saving medications. After completing his adult residency training in Albany, NY, he pursued further specialization in Pediatric Psychiatry at Westchester Medical Center. Dr. Cabisudo crucially understands the limitations and unfortunate repercussions of the use of medication. She is licensed in the states of NY, Fl and GA. She has over 20 years of experience helping children, adolescents and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, phobias, bipolar mood disorder and many other psychiatric conditions.

I am a board-certified Pediatric and Adult Psychiatrist. Harvard, Mount Sinai, and Yale-trained, I have over twenty years of experience in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy working with complex cases in a variety of clinical settings. I have a holistic and integrative approach to my practice using art, positive psychiatry and mindfulness approaches. I use strength-based approaches to help you become more resilient and optimistic. Anything that we as humans get exposed to in life can cause us to develop feelings and fantasies. At times when these feelings and fantasies are considered "unacceptable" due to fears, upbringing, culture, religion, norm or whatever else, such feelings and fantasies become unconscious. It means they exist and govern our lives but we are not conscious/aware of them. Such unconscious materials lead to psychiatric and physical manifestations including but not limited to anxiety, depression, physical ailments and many other presentations. I am trained to explore such unconscious feelings/fantasies in children, adolescents, and adults.
