I am passionate about what I do and I love working with all kinds of people to help them with their problems whether its anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, family, school, marital, work, or relationship problems. My goal is to help my clients feel safe, heard, understood, and to help them reach their goals. I believe in individualized care and treatment as everyone is different and has different needs and aspirations for themselves. I love working with kids, parents, adults, and couples to help them solve whatever communication issues they are having in order to facilitate care. I am a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist Intensive Training (ASDCS), Certified ADHD Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP), Certified Complex PTSD and Trauma (CCTP-II). I assess, diagnose, and treat all ages of life; from pediatric to geriatric. Each patient is unique in what their needs are, and will be treated to meet those needs.

I am a board certified adult, child & adolescent psychiatrist. I completed medical school at the University of Illinois in Chicago, a general (adult) psychiatry residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and a child psychiatry fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. The training I received in residency and fellowship has prepared me to manage essentially any psychiatric issue that comes through my clinic doors, regardless of severity or complexity.

I work with folks of all ages who may be reacting to stresses at work, school, or in relationships, or unhappy with depression, anxiety, ADHD, or trauma. Before the first visit, I will first send you medical and other questionnaires to bring with you so we can be thorough and remain focused on your needs. You can usually count on some relief and a clear plan when you leave. Most of my patients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first week or two and sustained improvement thereafter.

I am a Rush trained, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist who provides psychotherapy and medication management. I am passionate about helping patients and their families overcome the stigma surrounding mental health treatment for children. There is an unfortunate shortage of psychiatrists that specialize in treating children, which I recognized early in my training. This area of psychiatry is uniquely challenging due to its diversity, but I have worked with patients from a wide range of socio-economic, religious, and cultural backgrounds, and even patients as young as three years old.

Dr. Brown is a double board certified psychiatrist and treats children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Brown is an expert in the treatment of OCD. He will also work with clients regarding issues with PTSD, Panic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD. Dr. Brown focuses largely on using supplements and other natural treatments such as a behavioral change to find a path forward. However, he does prescribe medications as well when needed. The goal of treatment is the less medication overall the better as long as the person is doing ok.
