I'm a board certified psychiatrist specializing in the treatment of children and adolescents. I am proud to provide services to all ages by treating individuals and families at my private practice. I have extensive experience treating ADHD, behavioral issues, autism, depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, and other psychiatric conditions. All treatments start with a comprehensive assessment to guide and personalize your care. I use a variety of evidence based treatments that include a wide range of therapies and behavioral approaches as well as pharmacological and non-pharmacological options. Dr. Samuel is Board Certified in the Specialty of General Adult Psychiatry,and the Sub-Specialty of Pediatric (C & A) Psychiatry (ABPN). Dr. Samuel also holds two additional Board Certifications in Addiction Medicine (ABPM), and in Brain Injury Medicine (ABPN), by the American Board of Medical Specialties. His past institutions of training include, The Northeast London Hospitals, London, England, Great Britain; Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai/Saint Luke's & Roosevelt Hospitals, New York, (Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons); and Beth Israel Medical Center, New York, NY (Albert Einstein College of Medicine).

I have provided services for children and adults since 1977. As an RN I worked neonatal intensive care units and traveled throughout southern Arizona establishing early intervention services for children birth to 5 years age. Observing the lack of mental health care for children and families I completed the Family Mental Health Psychiatric Nurse Partitioner program in 2005. I continued to deliver services throughout Arizona and abroad in Germany providing care for active duty military men and women, veterans, and military dependents stationed throughout Europe.

My passion is to help treat those individuals with intellectual, development and behavior disabilities along with treating a variety of other mental health needs including ADHD, depression, mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, Autism Spectrum, sensory processing disorders. I believe that children are not just smaller adults, they will need their care to be uniquely tailored towards them and what works best. I believe to be successful, we need to work with the whole family unit to ensure long term sustainable success for both child and parents. WE are now offering ADHD testing along with cognitive assessments.

Accepting new patients age 6 and older. Dr. Yue Zong is a board certified adult, pediatric, and integrative psychiatrist. She is a Tucson native and lifelong Wildcat. Dr. Zong completed her undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Arizona. Along with psychiatry residency and child and adolescent fellowship, Dr. Zong gained additional training at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine. Dr. Zong's expertise allows her to fuse alternative, complementary, and nonpharmacologic options with evidence-based treatment. You will be in careful and capable hands when working with Dr. Zong.
