I welcome people of all ages and genders, but I have special expertise in working with women and adolescent girls who suffer from depression, mood swings, grief, anxiety, stress, trauma, self-injury, eating disorders, and/or ADHD. I see patients in person in Beverly Hills and in Redlands, California, and I also see patients via telepsychiatry throughout California. I use an approach that combines psychiatry-as-usual, that is, medications and therapy, with lifestyle changes in several domains. I work with patients to help them to achieve all-around vibrant health, both mental and physical.
Lifestyle Psychiatry consists of a set of evidence-based recommendations in the domains of Nutrition, Detoxification, Exercise, Sleep Medicine, Stress Reduction, and Social Wellness. In addition to optimizing patients’ medications and supplements, I coach patients and help them to develop individualized plans for optimizing each of these areas.
