I have been a Family Practice M.D. for the last 45 years. Throughout that time, I have always been interested most in Mental Health. In the last 10 years working as a gerontologist and Family Physician,I realized that caring for Mental Health was really more than a field of strong interest; but had become the area where I really wanted to serve. My passion to serve for the last five years. has evolved into starting a private practice devoted only to Mental Heath issues. My goal is to provide care to anyone regardless of insurance or financial status.
I have partnered with a board certified Psychiatrist from 2018 to 2020 and have had my own patients since. My goal is to serve the community of patients, who because of cost or lack of accessibility, are unable to obtain good psychiatric care. While I believe medications can be very helpful; I am well aware they are not always the best fit for everyone
My primary goal is serving my clients with compassion. I will always work as a partner and collaborator to provide the best and most up-to-date care. To make sure we are not missing any possible solutions, I will be consulting with a board certified psychiatrist every two weeks to discuss any outstanding challenges.
