Casual, relaxed setting to address symptoms of anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress, unstable mood (bipolar), insomnia, and issues with focus/concentration. I specialize in working with older adolescents, college/graduate students, and young adults launching careers and building relationships. Of course I work with adults of all ages.
I strongly believe that the role of the psychiatrist is to be a trusted teacher/advisor and, above all, an empathic listener. Medications are just one part of treatment but when used carefully may be an important factor in remission. Therefore, we will take the time to discuss treatment options, potential side effects, and expected benefits.
Limited, part-time practice in the evenings and on weekends, new appointments available in a couple of weeks. Due to the nature of this private, individualized, solo practice, I am unable to accept insurance but will provide a receipt. Fee is $200 for hourly sessions. No telehealth, no virtual, all in person.
