I have noted with great concern the explosion of prescription opiate drug abuse in south Florida and subsequently the number of addicted and disfunctional persons who suffer from this terrible disorder. My practice is oriented towards substitution of Suboxone for prescription opiates. You will receive careful monitoring and medical management with individual evaluation, urine screening, program and group referrals with a reasonable tapering of the Suboxone over a period of weeks or months in accordance with federal oversight guidelines.
Patients will receive individualized private care tailored to suit their needs and will have liberal access to medical staff. Furthermore, co-occurring psychiatric disorders will be addressed and treated within the context of opiate rehabilitation. Necessary psyhotropic medications will be utilized to manage bi-polar and other affective disorders.
In addition to addiction treatment, we have adult general psychiatry appointments. Afternoon and early evening office hours are available in a convenient St Lucie West location on Peacock Blvd. We are located less than 1 mile from I-95. Patients will receive assistance in billing their insurance company.
