About
Dr. Nayak is a board-certified psychiatrist with more than 10 years of experience in psychiatry. He treats adults with a broad range of mental health issues. His goal is simple – to help you improve your quality of life.
He grew up in Detroit, where he also attended medical school, and he completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Michigan. He has worked in every medical setting: large academic hospitals, private hospitals, community mental health, corrections, non-profit organizations, and private practice. These experiences have inspired him to take a holistic
team-based approach to psychiatry. He approaches all patients with empathy and without judgment. He is an expert on medications, but only prescribes them when necessary. The road to recovery involves many factors – including education, therapy, nutrition, lifestyle changes. He will work with you to create a plan to move forward.
