I am Dr. Schusler, DNP, PMHNP-BC. I am a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner with over a decade of experience in mental health care. At 48, I bring a deep well of clinical knowledge and empathetic insight to my work, specializing in the treatment of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD and other mental health disorders. When I am not working, I enjoy being outside as much as possible. I enjoy going on motorcycle rides, I have also built several motorcycles of my own, and many other outdoor activities such as going to forest preserves and hiking.

I believe in treating the whole person and always try to be kind and easy to talk to. I use treatments that are backed by research, and my advanced training helps me understand both medicines and different types of therapy.

I work with patients in person and online, so I can make care more convenient and open to everyone. When I'm not seeing patients, I help teach new providers and keep learning myself so I can stay up to date with the best ways to help.
