My approach is to work collaboratively with the clients and to focus on teaching, health promotion, clinical guidelines, and integrative care. Cassandra Shepard is dual-licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center received her Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from the University of Saint Joseph. I have experience in short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, inpatient, outpatient psychiatric treatment settings, and partial hospitalization program services.
I provide medication evaluation and med management for the entire lifespan with various behavioral health illnesses such as anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorders, eating disorders. Cassandra’s main goal is a multidimensional approach to address individual concerns appropriately
and to develop an effective, manageable, and approachable treatment plan to aim for med management. My approach to patient care is to treat every patient in a way that I would want to be treated. It is a real privilege. To be let into lives of patients who are struggling and be allowed to partner with them is truly a gift.
