Since 2015, have worked as a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-C) with medium and large county agencies, and with small rural practices. All settings involved treatment of diverse underserved populations with serious mental illnesses.
Prescribing of controlled substances such as benzodiazepines for
anxiety, or hypnotics for sleep, is selective and temporary. New ADHD
diagnoses are not offered, but patients with verifiable previous
diagnoses will be considered.
